    Philosophy

The Youth Group program at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton  is structured to help guide our youth in making decisions based on Christian values.  Lessons grow out of group discussions on moral issues, topic-oriented videos, presentations by guest speakers and weekly gospel readings.  Spiritual retreats, lock-ins, and outside service projects promote a social conscience that is sensitive to the needs of local and world communities.  The programs and experiences of Youth Group are meant to encourage an ever deepening relationship with Jesus Christ and a further understanding of our Catholic Church, its teaching and traditions.

Social activities such as tubing, bowling, picnics, and parties provide the friendship and fun that cements the group.  Youth Group meets on Sunday afternoons from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. in the Parish Center Hall.  Youth must be registered through the Religious Education Office.  Realizing how many activities teenagers are involved in, the program is designed to give them the flexibility of attending whenever they can.  The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming.
